Postponement of UKCS 2020
After careful consideration and consultation of public health advice relating to the Coronavirus outbreak, with regret the UK Continence Society has decided to postpone the UKCS 2020 Conference and Exhibition.
We recognise that currently there is no specific guidance in the UK against mass gatherings of this size. However, given that travel restrictions may risk participation by delegates, speakers and exhibitors, the hosts and venue feel that it seems sensible to move our friendly and popular event away from the immediate risk.
The 2020 event will be postponed until 2021 and the new dates are 3rd - 5th March 2021.
The event will be staged at the same venue in Glasgow.
We are now working through all delegate bookings to fully refund Registration Fees already paid. As you can imagine, we are exceptionally busy at this time and ask for your patience over the next 21 days whilst the relevant processing is actioned.
Registration for the new dates will open in Autumn 2020 and we will be in contact with you then. Given the need for you to apply for new study leave for March 2021, you will need to make a brand new booking to attend - your original booking for UKCS 2020 will NOT be carried over in any way.
Abstract authors: If you submitted an abstract, you will receive correspondence about that separately also.
We hope that you will keenly support the postponed Conference and Exhibition in 2021.
Thank you for your understanding and we wish you well in these challenging circumstances.
