27th United Kingdom Continence Society
Annual Scientific Meeting
22nd-24th April 2020
Dear Friends and Colleagues
It has been a long time since the UKCS family has enjoyed our Glaswegian hospitality! We are delighted to welcome you all next year to the UKCS conference in Glasgow at the new Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) at Strathclyde University, right in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.
We plan three exciting days of programme with the underlying theme of “Building Bridges” which encompasses not just Glasgow’s heritage, the River Clyde and its bridges which make Glasgow the City we all love, but also our vision for our conference. The promotion of continence is a multi-disciplinary effort and so is the 2020 UKCS Conference. The committee is made up of colleagues from many disciplines involved in the care of patients throughout the West of Scotland. We also have representation and involvement of many societies and organisations working together to make our conference an informative and up to date meeting, showcasing current best practice and current research, with an eye on the future.
Our confirmed collaborators include:
ACA, POPG, SPFN, NMAHP Research Unit, Scottish Committee of the RCOG, Scottish Menopause Network, BAUS, Dukes’ Club, Glasgow Caledonian University, BAPU and WAGS.
The University of Strathclyde’s Flagship venue is a great central backdrop with excellent facilities and ambience to support our theme in the Programme.
Then of course Glasgow is a vibrant and welcoming city and a social hub in Scotland. The city has hosted many great events and the UKCS will be one of them in 2020; Bagpipes and all…
We look forward to welcoming you to Glasgow.
